Our Story

Research Foundation for Islam(RFI) is an international non-government organization committed to fostering civilizational coexistence and advancing social progress. We believe that Islamic civilization is an indispensable gem in the mosaic of global cultures. Its rich philosophical traditions, artistic achievements, social norms, and scientific heritage continue to offer profound insights for the contemporary world. Guided by deep humanistic concern and unwavering values, we respond to the urgent global need for multicultural understanding, social justice, and mechanisms for peaceful coexistence.

The foundation was established out of a deep recognition of the historical contributions of Islamic civilization and a sincere concern for its current challenges. We believe Islamic civilization is not merely a legacy of past glory, but a living source of wisdom that continues to inspire humanity in fields such as thought, ethics, science, and the arts. In a globalized world marked by cultural misinterpretation, social exclusion, and unequal development, we strive to promote a more authentic, comprehensive, and respectful understanding of the Islamic world through knowledge production, policy advocacy, community support, and cultural engagement.

Since our inception, RFI has launched projects across numerous countries and regions, spanning education, human rights, cultural exchange, and social development. We have cultivated strong partnerships with dozens of international organizations, academic institutions, NGOs, and governmental bodies. Our work aims to bridge knowledge and action, tradition and modernity, and the Islamic world with the global community.
